Der Wiener Ball fand am Freitag, 1. Februar 2019 zum bereits f\u00fcnften Mal im Rathaus der serbischen Hauptstadt Beograd statt. Dieser besondere Anlass zeigt erneut, wie die Wiener Balltradition au\u00dferhalb \u00d6sterreichs immer wieder gro\u00dfen Anklang findet.<\/p>\n

Durch die besondere Unterst\u00fctzung der in Beograd ans\u00e4ssigen Tanzschule\u00a0Plesna \u0160kola Vra\u010dar\u00a0wurde auch die Baller\u00f6ffnung zu einem wunderbaren Highlight dieser Veranstaltung. Zu den Kl\u00e4ngen von Carl Michael Ziehrers F\u00e4cherpolonaise (Op. 525) und dem Einzugsmarsch aus dem Zigeunerbaron (Op. 327) von Johann Strauss Sohn tanzten sich die Er\u00f6ffnungspaare in die Herzen der Ballbesucher bevor zu den Kl\u00e4ngen unserer inoffiziellen Hymne, dem Donauwalzer, die Tanzfl\u00e4che definitiv f\u00fcr das Publikum freigegeben wurde.<\/p>\n

Als zu sp\u00e4ter Stunde mit der Fledermaus Quadrille auch noch viele Nicht-T\u00e4nzer ihr tief schlummerndes K\u00f6nnen auf dem Parkett unter Beweis stellten, wurde einmal mehr eine Tanzveranstaltung dem Titel “Wiener Ball” gerecht.<\/p>\n

Ich bin besonders stolz, unsere besondere Tradition der Wiener B\u00e4lle in vielen L\u00e4ndern der Welt pr\u00e4sentieren zu d\u00fcrfen und dazu beizutragen, dass ein kultureller Austausch auf dieser Ebene stattfindet. Wieder einmal zeigt sich, dass Tanzen eine besonders verbindende Eigenschaft zwischen Nationen haben kann und ich freue mich bei jedem der von mir betreuten B\u00e4lle und Baller\u00f6ffnungen im In- oder Ausland diese Bindungen unterst\u00fctzen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n
